Michaela believes that everyone deserves to experience joy through music and that singers have the unique opportunity to use text to tell stories and express the full range of human emotion. Her approach is based in freedom and relaxation of the body, finding consistent tone throughout the voice’s ranges and registers, and revealing the unique colors and expressions in each singer’s true voice. She has been an active and invested educator since 2018.
